It will explain what you owe and what your insurance covers.

We try to see all patients on time and ask that you extend the same courtesy. If you  are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule to another day, so the doctor can continue to see other patients in a timely manner. If you cannot keep an appointment, please try to give at least 24 hours notice so we can accommodate other patients who need to be seen.  Appointments not canceled prior to 24 hours may result in a missed appointment fee.

We are open weekdays with a limited  number of evening appointments available.  Let our staff know if you need one of these times as they tend to fill up quickly.

Also, we make every effort to see urgent problems the same day, so please let the receptionist know the nature of your call and we will do our best to accomodate you.  Please note however, urgent care appointments are scheduled during available times throughout the day, so we ask for your patience and flexibility when calling for an appointment.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

While we realize that at times urgent care centers are convenient, we would also like to take this time to remind you that we are available to our patients 24/7. We have same day appointments for urgent care and will return all phone calls the same day. Our answering service is available 24 hours a day. We ask that you please contact us first before going to an urgent care or emergency room so we can assess your medical needs and recommend a treatment.. We have found some urgent care facilities are not providing the quality care we want for our patients. We want to be sure you are getting the best health care advice possible. We can save you hours in a waiting room or even treament for the wrong diagnosis for a condition that may be able to wait until the next day.
Call our office at 248-817-2230 or after hours call our Answering Service at 248-544-6917

PLEASE NOTE:  IS THE PATIENTS RESPONSIBILY TO OBTAIN THE REFERRAL. Referrals take time to prepare and insurance companies often do not respond quickly. Because of this, we require you to submit your request at least 5-7 days in advance of when it is needed. Please allow adequate time  for our specialist to communicate with the insurance company and complete your request. If it has not, please contact our office.

As always, please feel free to speak to our referral specialist for assistance with referrals or with any questions or concerns.

We thank you for your patience and appreciate you cooperation .
Payment and Insurance
Over the last several years there have been many changes in insurance plans and coverage.  Please check with your insurance carrier about coverage for office visits and to verify that we participate with your plan. A list of insurances we normally participate with is listed on our Welcome page.

Bring all insurance forms and  cards to your appointment and be sure to notify the staff of all insurance changes when signing in for your visit.

All copays, outstanding balances and non-covered services are due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. Each insurance carrier has multiple plans, and the details of each is different so we may not have the specifics for your plan. Your insurance coverage represents a contract between you and your insurance carrier.

More and more insurances require patients to contribute to the cost of their health care in the form of deductibles, copays and co-insurance. We do not control the amount you are required to contribute. These are set by the terms of your contract you or your employer signed with your insurance carrier.  Any amounts we  bill to you represents your obligation under that contract. You will receive a monthly bill with the balance due for services.
We are required to collect all copays, coinsurance and deductibles as participating physicians. If a bill presents a financial difficulty please speak with your doctor or our Office Manager. We do our best to work with our patients and may be able to develop a personal payment arrangement for you. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, Debit Cards, MasterCard, Visa, AMEX or Discover for payment.

You can pay here in our office, by mail or on our online payment portal. See the link under PAY YOUR BILL above or on our welcome page.
